Guests of FGB for DigiCamere: Public Administration & Frugal Innovation
We have been very happy to accept the invitation of Giannino Bassetti Foundation (FGB) to share insights from frugal innovation, inclusive innovation and design-thinking with Public Administration officials.
The evening event, moderated by Giacomo Biraghi and organized by DigiCamere in the historical headquarters of FGB, led everyone discuss and debate about collettive ingenuity applied to public institutions, the latter being more and more asked to be open, creative and inclusive.
After the introduction by Prof. Leonardo Previ, (TrivioQuadrivio), De-LAB illustrated some technical aspects of inclusive project-design applied to pubblic services (e.g urban policies) showing some examples of urban municipalities that are already working in this field, both in Developing and Developed Countries.
In the end, the architect Ettore Giordano presented some of his works developed in poor countries, ultimately showing how design is getting more informal and frugal in its methodologies and applications.
