Julius Meinl – Social Innovation – ESG analysis

The coffee sector at De-LAB has a very long history: the founder graduated with a thesis on the sustainability of the Nespresso project in Costa Rica and had been looking to work in this area for years. Finally, the opportunity came with Julius Meinl – a historic Viennese coffee brand – for which De-LAB started a path towards Benefit issues, included in the company’s ESG strategy. 

The occasion was important to start a first level of collaboration aimed at setting up internal accountability and data collection processes. A great step that we hope will continue in the future.
